The Southern Philippines Medical Center Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism launched its training program in May of 2024. It is the first institution in Mindanao to provide a training program in Endocrinology. Currently, the section has 7 consultants and 3 fellows. It is the goal of the section to nurture outstanding, service-oriented future Endocrinologists and improve the lives of Filipino patients with endocrine diseases.
