Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the institution was granted permission to start an Endocrinology training program with a probationary status in July 2021, under the leadership of Dr. Jeremy Jones Robles as head of the PCEDM Accreditation Committee. Full accreditation to continue the fellowship program was then granted by the PCEDM committee headed Dr. Michael Villa in Sept 2022, during the presidential term of Dr. Carol Narvacan- Montano. The first trainees are Dr. Randolf Perez and Dr Athena Valenzuela-Patawaran, guided by Dr Aimee Andag-Silva as Section Chief and Dr Abigail Uy-Canto as Training Officer.
As dedicated academicians, we strive to contribute to the PCEDM mission of elevating endocrine training, research, and care in the Philippines. We remain grounded to our Lasallian principles of Faith, Service and Communion- that we may “continue to do all our actions for the LOVE of GOD and keep Jesus in our hearts forever.”
