EAST AVENUE MEDICAL CENTER

The institution is one of the Diabetes Care and Control Centers of the country.  It is also one of the hospitals with a dedicated limb-preserving Diabetic Foot Clinic.

The Clinical Fellowship Program started on year 2016 and was granted full accreditation by the Philippine Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (PCEDM) on year 2017.

Aside from their clinical rotations at EAMC, they also rotate at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI).  They were also given the opportunity to do their elective rotation abroad.

At present, the Head of the Section is Dr. Pepito Dela Peña and the Training Officer is Dr. Celito Tamban.
