The Endocrinology Fellowship Training Program of Chong Hua Hospital was first established in year 2014 and was granted full accreditation by the Philippine Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism on March 18, 2016. It is the only accredited fellowship training institution outside of Metro Manila. The program was initially spearheaded by Dr. Gorgonia P. Panilagao as Chairperson, and Dr. Ceryl Cindy Tan as the Training Officer. At present, the program head is Dr. Imelda Bilocura.

The training program aims to produce graduates who are competent specialists in the field of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism ready to serve the Filipino people especially in the regions of Visayas and Mindanao. It has produced five graduates, and its pioneer graduates, Dr. Claire Carampatana-Jandug and Dr. Ma. Vircel Tiu, have successfully passed the written and oral examinations given by the PCEDM last January 2018.
